CAD Designer
(CAD – Computer Aided Design)
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer/CNC Machinist/Drafter to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting parts and components using CAD software, programming and operating CNC machines, and preparing technical drawings and documentation for fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Program and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on parts and products to ensure they meet design and engineering requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.
- Keep up-to-date with new CAD software and CNC machine technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in CAD design and drafting for manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360, Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Experience with CNC programming and operation.
- Strong knowledge of drafting and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
